Don your wings and celebrate spring! Family-friendly programming will focus on wildflowers and butterflies. Enjoy fairy tales brought to life by the California Shakespeare Ensemble, a take-home nature project, and more. All activities free with admission.

EARTH DAY CRAFTS

Celebrate the Earth in child-friendly crafts to make and take.

SPRING BREAK TAKE-HOME PROJECT

Keep your kiddos busy with a make-and-take home science project. Put it together at Descanso, then observe it at home.

STORIES UNDER THE OAKS

11am – noon | Under the Oaks Theater
The California Shakespeare Ensemble will present a nature-inspired story suited to springtime. The ensemble won many fans with its performance of “Beauty & the Beast” last spring at Descanso.

WILDFLOWER & POLLINATOR FAMILY WALK
1pm | El Portal
Learn about the important role animals and insects play in plant pollination on this walk suitable for all ages.
