A tradition at Descanso, the Pasadena POPS teams up with Patina Catering for summer evenings of riveting music and delicious dining.

Bring your own picnic or pre-order your dinner picnic from Patina. Orders must be received the Wednesday prior to each weekend. For more information about Patina picnic service, call (818) 790-3663. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

June 19-20 | A NIGHT IN THE TROPICS
Latin passion heats up with compelling rhythms, rich musical colors and vibrant melodies. Hear the Beat with the Piazzolla Tangos, Villa Lobos and Capriccio Espagnol while watching live tango performed by dancers Sandor and Parissa.

July 17-18 | I LOVE PARIS
Be serenaded with everything from the immortal Carnival of Animals by Saint Saens, Symphonie Fantastique from Berlioz and the irresistible energy of Gershwin’s An American in Paris.

Aug. 14-15 | STAR-CROSSED LOVE
Via music, visit the star-crossed loves of Romeo and Juliet, Superman and Lois, Batman and Rachel, Scarlett and Rhett. Hear some of our favorite themes from John Williams, Rodgers and Hart, Puccini and Tchaikovsky.

Sept. 11-12 | GENIUS LOVES COMPANY
Geniuses have always been drawn to other geniuses. Brubeck loves Bach, Copland loved Lincoln, Lincoln Loved Verdi, Bernstein loved Voltaire and Rossini and Tchaikovsky loved Mozart.
