Festivals, horticultural events and an imaginative variety of classes for adults and children encourage visitors use Descanso Gardens as a place for learning, relaxation and appreciation of the beauty around them. Classes provide special experiences for everyone, from preschoolers participating in Toddler Treks with Acorn Bear to adults learning about landscaping, art and nature from authors and other experts. Public programs include both fee-based classes* and programs and free talks and concerts.
