Self-Guided Tour
School groups may visit Descanso Gardens for a self-guided tour, under the supervision of the classroom teacher, on weekdays during regular operating hours, 9:00-5:00. Schools on self-guided walks must have at least one adult for every eight (8) students. Advance reservations are required, as the number of school groups admitted each day is limited.

Reservations
Reservations are required for both self–guided and docent–guided visits to Descanso Gardens.
There is no fee for students and accompanying adults, up to one adult for every four children.
Adults in excess of a one to four ratio must pay the general admission fee of $7.00 per person.

A brochure with detailed information on tours, teacher, chaperone guidelines, a reservation confirmation and pre-trip admission pass are sent out once you have reserved a group visit.
School groups will not be admitted without a reservation.
