Descanso Gardens welcomes volunteers who are guided by a humanistic, nurturing philosophy that values the unique quality of each individual. Harvest Garden volunteers receive monthly training related to gardening techniques, curriculum content, and communication skills helpful when working with the students. Creating a positive, success-oriented outcome for all participants is of supreme importance when working toward our educational and therapeutic goals.
