End of Summer Celebration

Exclusively for Descanso Gardens members and La Cañada Flintridge residents

Enjoy the end of summer and celebrate Descanso’s 70th year of being a public garden! Stroll the garden in the early evening, enjoy live music, hands-on activities and more.

No reservations or tickets required.

Courtyard

Magnolia Lawn

• Here’s to 70 more years! – What’s coming next for Descanso (5-6:30pm)
  • Learn about some of our upcoming garden projects.
• Meet the plants (and the people who take care of them) (5-6:30pm)
  • Get a closer look at some special botanical specimens and talk with our horticulture team.

Main Lawn

• The Flashdance DJs (5-7pm)
• Hands-on activity (5-6:45pm)
  • Sun prints: celebrate the summer sun.  Make your own sun print using natural materials and shapes/cutouts that celebrate Descanso’s 70th birthday.
