Community Service Day @ Descanso Gardens

Get hands-on gardening experience by mulching in the garden and help care for Descanso at this volunteer opportunity. Instruction will be provided.
 
· All experience levels welcome
· Ages 16 or older
· Must be able to lift, bend and stand for long periods of time. Moderate to heavy lifting involved
· Please bring gardening gloves, water, and wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes
· Limited space available, RSVP required
 
RSVP to volunteer@descansogardens.org by Saturday, February 4. You will be sent additional instructions and will need to sign a waiver form in order to participate.

Student Community Service Day @ Descanso Gardens

Get hands-on gardening experience by mulching in the garden, help clean up Descanso, and get service hours for school at this student volunteer opportunity. Instruction will be provided.
 
· All experience levels are welcome.
· For ages 12–18. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
· Bring gardening gloves and water.
· Remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
· Limited space available, RSVP required
