Join artist Virginia Hein for a four week series that focuses on exploring color to sketch the autumn landscapes of Descanso. Bring a spirit of play and experimentation while learning to work confidently with color.

$90 members, $110 nonmembers. Class meets in the Rose Pavilion on Oct. 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 9am to noon. Advance registration required.

Learn the traditional art of papel picado with Self Help Graphics & Art on October 17. Self Help Graphics’ teaching artists will guide participants through creating a papel picado scene, cutting elaborate designs into pieces of delicate tissue paper.

Join us for a four-week Tuesday yoga class with Barbara Wood in the Rose Pavilion on October 19, 26 and November 2 and 9 from 8:30–10am. Each class includes a 25-minute fitness walk and 60-minute yoga practice.
