{SOLD OUT} Sketching on Location @ Descanso Gardens

Meets online over Zoom for five Saturdays from July 10–August 7, 10–11:30am.

Join artist Virginia Hein in this five-week art series and learn to sketch the varied landscapes of Descanso using a variety of media. Students will meet weekly on Zoom for instruction and conversation, and will be given exercises to do at Descanso on their own time between class sessions.

$100 per person. Students will be provided with a materials list with registration. Members only.

Descanso Gardens members get first look at the upcoming Castle Garden exhibition at the Sturt Haaga Gallery from June 25–27. The Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm.

Through contemporary artwork, videos and historic materials, Castle Garden will explore how, over centuries, plants and gardens have played a vital role in communicating our identity and culture.
