Student Community Service Day @ Descanso Gardens

Feb 25 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Get hands-on gardening experience by mulching in the garden, help clean up Descanso, and get service hours for school at this student volunteer opportunity. Instruction will be provided.
 
· All experience levels are welcome.
· For ages 12–18. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
· Bring gardening gloves and water.
· Remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
· Limited space available, RSVP required
 
RSVP to volunteer@descansogardens.org by Saturday, February 18. You will be sent additional instructions and will need to sign a waiver form in order to participate.

Camellia Flower Arranging Demo @ Descanso Gardens

George Harrison, President of Pacific Camellia Society, will lead a flower arranging demonstration featuring camellias.

Before or after the demo, you are welcome to visit the Southern California Camellia Council show in Rose Pavilion from 9am–4:30pm.

Before or after the walk, you are welcome to visit the Southern California Camellia Council show in the Rose Pavilion from 9am–4:30pm.
