Join our week-long celebration of Earth Day and our majestic oaks. View displays created by Descanso horticulture staff at the lake, Bird Observation Station, and California Garden that celebrate the importance of our oaks and the habitat they create. Attend tours everyday at 11am and don’t miss the plant giveaway Saturday morning (while supplies last).

Included in the price of admission or Descanso Gardens membership, no reservations required.

• All experience levels are welcome.

• For ages 12-15. Adult chaperones must be present.

• Bring gardening gloves and water.

• Remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.

• Limited space available, RSVP required

RSVP to volunteer@descansogardens.org by Saturday, April 22, 2023. You will be sent additional instructions and will need to sign a waiver form in order to participate.
