Join our week-long celebration of Earth Day and our majestic oaks. View displays created by Descanso horticulture staff at the lake, Bird Observation Station, and California Garden that celebrate the importance of our oaks and the habitat they create. Attend tours everyday at 11am and don’t miss the plant giveaway Saturday morning (while supplies last).

Included in the price of admission or Descanso Gardens membership, no reservations required.

Come explore, play and create with us under the oaks on the Main Lawn. Families with young children (age 2–5 years old) will enjoy doing arts and crafts and nature exploration together each month.

No registration required, free with admission or membership.

• All experience levels are welcome.

• For ages 12-15. Adult chaperones must be present.

• Bring gardening gloves and water.

• Remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.

Join us for a guided walking tour to see what’s blooming at Descanso. Meets from 11am to noon on March 17 and 18, April 21 and 22, and May 19 and 20.
