Join us for a walking tour from 11am–12pm on December 17 to learn about Descanso’s historic camellia collections, plus little-known stories behind many of the camellias currently in bloom.

Join us for an eight-week Tuesday yoga class with Barbara Wood in the Rose Pavilion on Tuesdays from January 10–February 28, 8:30–10am. Each class includes a 25-minute fitness walk and 60-minute yoga practice.

Open yourself up to new beginnings with a pop-up Saturday Flex and Flow yoga class. Rejuvenate your body and mind after a brisk, 25-minute garden walk, a 60-minute yoga breath and movement practice.
The class will incorporate flowing poses as well as longer holds to relax and lengthen muscles. This format will allow new students a chance to explore poses and more experienced students a chance to take the poses to a deeper level. Classes are designed to be safe, inclusive, well-rounded, and fun!

About Kitty Schaller
Certified by YogaFit Worldwide, Kitty has over a decade of experience teaching yoga for all ages and levels of experience. She taught at Descanso Gardens for many years, as well as the La Canada Y, the Chevy Chase Country Club, and Urban Fitness. Kitty currently teaches most of her yoga classes online. She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor.
