Join us for a special dinner honoring Descanso’s iconic winter flower with a curated menu by Chef Philip Mack. The Camellia Wine Dinner menu includes Kabocha Pumpkin with burnt onion, Chinese sausage, edible ferns and crème fraîche, and a 36-Hour Imperial Wagyu beef brisket. Each course will be perfectly paired with a wine selection to complement the dish.

Join instructor Coco Howard for a fun introduction to needle felting. Learn beginning hand sewing and needle felting techniques to create little felted woodland animals and perfect woolen pockets pals.

Ages 5 and older. Children under 14 require an accompanying adult. Cost includes materials for one project per child. $40 members; $45 nonmembers. Advanced registration required.

Garden Sprouts @ Descanso Gardens

Garden Sprouts is a grownup and child (ages 2-4) class where the seeds of love for nature are planted and nurtured. Children and adults participate in story time, songs, hands-on nature, science, art, and gardening activities, as well as prepare a healthy snack together. All activities are designed specifically for children’s fine and gross motor skills and social development.
