Concert-goers are welcome to bring their own food, or can order a summer picnic box from Patina. Lawn chairs are allowed and lawn seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us for stargazing in the Oak Woodland during the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower. Astrophotographer and telescope expert Bryan Cogdell will give a talk that highlights meteor showers and teaches you how to identify objects in the night sky. Following the talk, stay to view the night sky through telescopes.
You can arrive at 7:30pm for a self-guided walk. Enjoy the sunset and make your way to the Oak Woodland by 8:15pm for the Night Sky Talk and Stargazing.

The gardens stay open extra late for the End of Summer Celebration. Grab a cold drink and relax to the tunes of the The Flashdance DJs, wander through the gardens to the sounds of live music. Enjoy the sunset, then end the night with some stargazing in the Oak Woodland. Bring your own flashlight!
Advance tickets required. Descanso Gardens members can reserve tickets during a preorder beginning August 13. Tickets will be released to the public on August 16.
