Ten years of Enchanted means ten years of transforming the Garden with light, color, and imagination. This season, welcome back beloved artists HYBYCOZO and Tom Fruin, and discover new moments of wonder with Lightswitch Design’s laser show and custom train cars designed and built by one of Descanso’s own train engineers.

With exhibitions all around the world, Tom Fruin returns to Descanso with his luminous house sculptures. These houses are made from found materials varying in content and color. This year, find Tom Fruin’s houses in the magnificent Oak Grove.
Known for creative directing and producing Enchanted Forest of Light, Lightswitch takes on the Luminous Lawn with a dedicated laser installation that transforms the Garden’s familiar oaks into something entirely unexpected.
Descanso Train Technician, Guy Louis has built and designed three new train cars just for Enchanted. Guy reimagines G-scale trains through unexpected and bold color choices, texture, and sculptural detail – bringing fresh perspectives on familiar objects.
