Honor a loved one
Honor a loved one or friend by donating in their name. A personal acknowledgement will be sent to the honoree or the family letting them know of your thoughtfulness. Your gift will support the gardens and our mission to connect people with nature and one another.
Flowering Tree Sponsorship $1,500
Available February through April 2027, this special opportunity allows you to sponsor a flowering cherry, plum, or crabapple tree in full seasonal bloom. An engraved plaque bearing your honoree’s name will be placed in front of the tree for the duration of the display. Returning sponsors will enjoy early access and priority to renew their sponsorship for the same tree the following year.
Tulip Bed Sponsorship $500
New this year – available February through April 2027. Be part of one of the most colorful moments of the season. Sponsor a tulip bed along the Promenade, where an engraved plaque will be displayed among 30,000 vibrant tulips.
Blooming Bed Sponsorship $500
Available May through July 2027, this sponsorship adorns a vibrant flower bed along the Promenade with an engraved plaque honoring your chosen recipient. It’s a beautiful and memorable way to celebrate any special occasion during the peak of the summer garden season.

Tulip Bed and Blooming Flower Bed $950
Available February through July 2027. Enjoy two beautiful moments of recognition, beginning with vibrant tulips in early spring and continuing with a blooming flower bed into late spring and summer—extending your tribute across the seasons.
Tulip Bed, Blooming Tree, and Blooming Flower Bed $2,400
Available February through July 2027. Create a lasting presence throughout the entire spring season and into summer with recognition among tulips, beneath flowering cherry trees, and within a Promenade flower bed.
Tribute benches
Tribute benches are a lovely way to remember and honor a loved one and provide seating throughout the garden for Descanso’s guests. Your tax-deductible gift provides vital support for the gardens.
Landscape Bench Tribute $25,000
We’ve identified ideal settings for benches where guests can relax and take in nature. Our tribute benches are beautifully handcrafted from wood and feature an engraved plaque with your loved one’s name for a fixed term of 10 years. Contact development@descansogardens.org to learn more.
