Emceed by California poet laureate Lee Herrick, poets from around the Los Angeles area will come together to remember Amy Uyematsu on February 10.
Amy Uyematsu, granddaughter of F.M. Uyematsu, was a poet, high school math teacher, and an activist. Her writing touched on the intersection of politics, mathematics, spirituality, and the natural world.
