Dinosaurs at Descanso Railroad: Opening Weekend

Step back in time for an unforgettable opening weekend at Descanso Railroad, where dinosaurs come to life across the miniature train landscapes.
Explore large-scale dinosaur installations and Cretaceous-era mammals crafted from natural materials, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages throughout the weekend.
From fossil discoveries to interactive puppet performances, this is a prehistoric adventure the whole family can enjoy.

Friday, June 5 | 10am–7pm
- All day — Summer Passport + collectible sticker handout at the Bridge when you scan your ticket or membership card
- All day — Dinosaur installations at Descanso Railroad and the Ancient Forest
- 9:30am–11:30am — Little Explorers dinosaur-themed activities at Magnolia Court
- 11am–3pm — Fossil discovery at the Promenade
- 12:30pm–3pm — Natural History Museum puppet performances at the Promenade
Saturday & Sunday, June 6–7 | 9am–7pm
