Celebrate 60 years of our Japanese Garden with a guided walking tour led by the Japanese garden history expert Daisuke Murata.
Presented alongside our Sound of Water exhibition, this special anniversary stroll reveals fascinating stories behind our garden’s unique architecture, landscape, and water features. Come celebrate this milestone with us!

About Daisuke Murata
Daisuke Murata, PhD, is a researcher specializing in Japanese art history. His areas of expertise include modern and contemporary Japanese art, Japanese gardens, and Japanese ceramics. He also worked at three museums in Japan as a curator: the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa (2003–2012); the Toyama Glass Art (2013–2015); the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art (2015–2020).
