Join us for a panel discussion between Natura Naturata: Nature’s Action curator Claudia Pretelin and artists Luciana Abait, Jackie Castillo, and Maru Garcia.

Together, they will reflect on the creative process behind producing new commissioned artworks inspired by Descanso Gardens.

In this conversation, the artists will discuss photographic and sculptural installations that invite visitors to rethink their connections to the environment.

They’ll explore how photography and video shape the way we see and understand the natural world, intersecting with the fields of biology, philosophy, and art.
