Party Goats is providing goats and sheep to help Descanso sustainably clear brush and grass to keep our grounds healthy, and they want to meet you!
Pet, feed, and take photos with these charming goats and sheep while learning fun facts about their personalities, behaviors, and care.
Grazing expert and Party Goats founder Scout Raskin will be giving two talks on goat super powers, anatomy, and the benefits of prescribed grazing.
Free with admission or membership, no registration required.

July 7–10: Watch the herd at work
- The goats and sheep will be grazing near the Stone Bridge along the road to the Boddy House. View the map.
- They can be viewed from the path during normal garden hours.
- The grazing area will be fenced and supervised.
July 11: Meet the goats
- Petting Zoo: Main Lawn, 10am–2pm
- Educational Talks: Amphitheater, 10:30am and 11:30am
