Get an exclusive tour of our Nursery and learn to propagate an array of plants with Descanso’s Nursery Horticulturist Olivia Behegan.
This workshop will introduce propagation techniques for beginners, teaching attendees the principles needed to propagate common household plants.
We will also explore more intermediate and advanced techniques with native and woody plants, finishing off with creating a take-home mini greenhouse.
$50 members, $65 non-members. Advance registration required. Registration opens to members on April 6 at 10am and to non-members on April 10 at 10am.
Meets in the Ruth Borun Nursery and Propagation Center.
About Olivia Behegan
Olivia Behegan is Descanso Gardens’ Nursery Horticulturist who runs nursery facilities and operations.
She has spent most of her life raising plants with a passion for plant breeding. Olivia is a proud graduate of UC Davis’ college of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
