Come get your hands in the dirt with us! Join Maru García, a featured artist from Natura Naturata exhibition, for a community workshop where art meets ecology.
Explore the secrets of soil health while working together to build “towers” from the Gardens’ own soil and plants.
This collaborative project will become Emerging Horizons, a site-specific installation that celebrates our shared power to heal the land.
The Soil Art Workshop is included with registration or membership. Spaces are limited and advance registration is required. Please note that this workshop is full.

About Maru García
Maru García is a Mexican artist and chemist based in Los Angeles, who works at the intersection of art, science, and the environment.
Her artistic practice blends lab and fieldwork with humans’ role as remediators at contaminated sites.
