In this conversation, curator Meher McArthur and artists Mineko Grimmer, Yumiko Glover, and Miya Ando will explore water’s significance in Japanese culture and spirituality, as well as its depiction in traditional and contemporary art.
The exhibition artists will share the role of water in their work and its symbolic, spiritual, and emotional importance in their artistic practice, with particular attention to the artworks in the exhibition.
