About Las Colibrí

Las Colibrí or “The Hummingbirds,” have a passion for music, beauty, and girl power.

These women are flying into new territory by returning to the all-string instrumentation of the early 20th century mariachi tradition and the colorful, feminine costumes of the Mexican cinematic divas of the 40’s and 50’s.

About Wimberley Bluegrass Band

Wimberley Bluegrass Band is a sibling band with blazing picking, close family harmonies, and a joyful blend of originals and bluegrass classics, Wimberley Bluegrass Band brings roots music alive with heart and energy.

Named one of LA’s top bluegrass bands by CBS.

About Summer Music and Dance

Our popular series is back! This year we are celebrating America’s 250th anniversary by highlighting the people and cultures that make our country beautiful.

This summer celebrates America as rhythm, migration, and reinvention: music and dance that is rooted in place, shaped by travel, and alive in connection.

This program is generously funded, in part, by Perenchio Foundation
