The Garden Table is Descanso Gardens’ monthly dining series featuring seasonal, chef-curated menus inspired by California’s local produce.
This month’s menu is a collaboration between Daniel Mattern of Friends & Family and Alex Weiser of Weiser Family Farms.
The evening’s entirely vegetarian menu highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with specialty cheeses, vibrant seasonal salads, grilled flatbreads, and thoughtfully curated wine pairings served throughout the meal. Dessert features a refreshing fruit sorbet.
Located in the Rose Garden.
$150 per person, seating is limited.

Friends & Family is a seasonal cafe and marketplace featuring fresh baked goods in East Hollywood where Daniel is the head chef. They are committed to serving hand made fresh food, with artisan breads and pastries made daily with locally-sourced, heirloom grains, as well as a produce forward day-time menu.
