Trick-or-Treat at Carved

As night falls, Descanso transforms into Carved, an immersive world of illuminated art and hand-carved pumpkins.
Halloween evening will include trick-or-treating, crafts, a mini pumpkin patch and dance party.
Included with Carved admission. Capacity is limited for Carved, and advance ticket purchase is recommended.
Schedule
6–8pm
- Mushroom Forage Trick or Treat — Search the gardens for Descanso staff and volunteers disguised as spotted mushrooms and collect a prize or treat along the way.
- Miniature Pumpkin Patch — Pick your favorite tiny pumpkin to take home and enjoy.
- Craft Station — Decorate your own trick-or-treat bag for the evening’s festivities.
8–10pm
- DJ Set & Dance Party — Show off your costume and dance the night away in the Oak Grove surrounded by Carved’s illuminated installations.
Food & Drinks
Refreshments will be available for purchase at the Rose Garden, Promenade, and Main Lawn. Farmhouse will also be open for dining; reservations are recommended.
Costume Guidelines
Costumes are welcome. For everyone’s safety, please leave face-obscuring masks and fake weapons at home.
