Day of the Dead Celebration

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a traditional Mexican holiday to honor and remember deceased loved ones.
During this celebratory holiday, spirits are welcomed back home to visit family by building ofrendas (altars), sharing memories, festivities, and community gathering.
In honor of Día de los Muertos, Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea will play traditional music by the Descanso Gardens’ ofrenda.
As you think of cherished memories, listen to music that is meant to bring you and your passed loved ones joy. Guests are invited to bring a photo or message to be placed on the ofrenda.
Included in the price of admission or membership, no event registration required. Located at the Amphitheater near the Main Lawn.
